Alan Michael Galla, 34 of Traverse City, died Sunday, January 19, 2025.

He was born on September 5, 1990 the son of Patrick Allen Galla and Jennifer Terese (Spink) Galla.

Alan was Autistic and graduated from high school and attended several online colleges for credits. He was also a ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) graduate.

Being Autistic he was highly intelligent and extremely smart with Computers and using Cell Phones. Alan loved Airplanes; he made model Airplanes and had many metal Airplanes. He fixed things very easily. Alan was a very kindhearted person. He had been homeless at one time and was given a new coat and he in turn gave his older coat to another homeless person. He loved to pay it forward and when he could he helped others and made sure they didn’t go hungry.

Alan loved animals, especially Puppies; he loved to hug soft stuffed animals. When living in Kentucky he volunteered for a local animal shelter.

Alan is survived by his mother, Jennifer Spink Stewart; father, Patrick Galla; sister, Samantha Galla; brother, Alexander Stewart; maternal grandfather, Thomas (Barbara) Spink, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Galla and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Pickard; paternal grandfather, Donald Galla; and his aunt, Jessica Spink.

Memorial Contributions may be made to his mother, Jennifer Stewart to help with expenses.

Private family services have been held.
