Bertha Fleis

Bertha Fleis 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2021. Bertha was born on February 13, 1934 to Moses and Edith (Bushee) Wells in Fennville, Michigan. On May 1, 1971 Bertha married Benedict Fleis in Traverse City at the First Church of the Nazarene. She spent her life dedicated to her husband and family and helping with different local charities.

Bertha is survived by her son, Stanley (Marcie) Fleis of Kingsley; Step-Children, Monique (Kneal) Brownson of Boyne City, Marc (Jane) Fleis of Buckley, son in law, Joe Morgan of Kingsley and daughter in law, Marilyn (Lark) Fleis of Grawn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Fleis, both parents, 5 brothers and 3 children from a previous marriage, Butch, Vincent and Barbara Orlaski, Step-son, Larry Fleis and Step-daughter Jacquelin Morgan.

Memorial contributions to Freedom Builders would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Life Story Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. The family will greet friends starting at 10:30am.
