Betty Reamer

Betty Jean Reamer, 82, of Traverse City, died Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Boardman Lake Glens.

She was born on January 15, 1940 in Traverse City, the daughter of the late Harry Leroy and Maybelle (Deuel) Clark.

Betty was a Special Education Aide with Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District for 20+ years, until her retirement.

She enjoyed bowling, games, walking, arts and crafts, dancing, cooking and going to the grandkids sporting events. Betty loved to take care of her husband, Raymond and family. She was loving, caring, and always putting other people’s needs above her own. She was a truly beautiful person.

Betty is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Reamer of 62 years and five children; Christinea (Larry) Podsaid, Craig (Sue), Clint (Mary), Valerie (Steve Bryan) Quinby and Kim (Jennifer); grandchildren, David, Brianna, Austin, Nolan, Drew, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Nick, Jacob, Jay, Serena, Justin, Lexi and Jade; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Gabriella, David Asher, Judah, Brianna and Lucas; sister Barbara (James) Muth and brother Carroll (Judy) Clark.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Richard and Roy, sisters Beatrice Fulton and Bonnie Rosenberg.

An informal gathering and reception will start at 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Life Story Funeral Home in Traverse City, Michigan. A celebration of life will start at 2pm.
