Bruce Lynn Dunwiddie, 72 of Traverse City, died Monday, July 16, 2018.

He was born on November 14, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of John William and Ferne Elizabeth (Wegmer) Dunwiddie.

Bruce graduated from Huntertown, Indiana High School in 1964. He then enlisted in the US Air Force serving in Kincheloe Air Force Base and then at Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico. After serving his country he and his then wife, the former Brenda Baril moved to Traverse City where they had their daughter Nichole. He was also previously married to Debbie Hicks of Churubusco, Indiana.

He was a practicing life-long Methodist. Bruce loved to play Baseball; watch the Chicago Cubs and play cards. He was very Civic minded and participated in the Fort Wayne Jaycees and the Huntertown Council.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Niki Dunwiddie; granddaughter, Lauren Kiss; brother, Dave (Karen) Dunwiddie of Centennial, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John William and Ferne Elizabeth Dunwiddie.
