Danny Schultz

Danny Ray Schultz, 67, of Traverse City, died on July 29, 2017.

Danny was born on January 25, 1950 in La Porte, Indiana to Raymond Martin and Frances Ruth (Williams) Schultz.

Danny was employed at Oleson's Food Store. He loved his Oleson's family. Danny had a big heart and enjoyed traveling and spending time with the young children in his life. He always had a smile on his face and everyone who met him; loved him.

Danny is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Nelson) Schultz; they were married on October 16, 2016; sons, Allen (Lori) Vander Meulen, Rick (Amanda) Vander Meulen; daughters, Stephanie and Heather; 12 grandchildren; sisters; Donna (Jim) Reese, Ginger House and Francie (Dick) Morehead; brother, Meyer (Roxie) Schultz; two very special people, Sherry and Steve Sisco and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Frances Schultz.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held 5pm, Friday, August 4, 2017 at the Christ Church, 430 Fair St., Traverse City. The family will greet friends starting at 4pm.

Memorial contributions made to University of Michigan Cancer Center for Head and Neck Research or Munson Hospice are greatly appreciated.
