Dorothy Raetz

Dorothy Burke Raetz, 92, of Traverse City, MI passed away peacefully Tuesday September 14th, 2021 with all her kids by her side doing what she loved by sharing good food and singing her favorite hymns.

Dorothy was born in Midland, Mi to William and Edith Burke. Dorothy lived her entire life through her faith in God, music, and love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Raetz, and a son David.

Dorothy is survived by her children Judi Babel and her husband Bill, Robb Raetz and his wife Kathy, Joanne Munley and her husband Mark, Rich Raetz and his wife Linda, Bill Raetz and his wife Ellen, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy’s memorial service will take place on Saturday September 25th at 11:00am at First Congregational Church 6105 Center Rd, Traverse City, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s honor can be made to the First Congregational Church music fund.
