Elizabeth Timmins

Elizabeth Belle “Lizzie” Timmins-Saylor, 58, of Traverse City, died Sunday, February 2, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1966, to Richard and Emmaline (Hasse) Timmins.

Elizabeth was a manager at Papa J’s and a talented homemaker, but most importantly, she loved being a mom.

One of Elizabeth’s most cherished moments was having her son and becoming a grandmother. She also loved her and Brian’s cats and other animals, cosmetology, music and concerts, and sappy movies.

She is survived by her life partner, Brian Saylor; son; Branden (Suzie) Saylor; sisters; Patricia Brown; Cheryl (Sam) Zachary; sister-in-law; Sharon Fewins-Saylor; nephew; Michael Sich; niece; Jessica Smiddy; granddaughters; Amelia and Zaraya Saylor and nephew, Austin (Katie) Groesser.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Emmaline Timmins; and her sister; Karen Holmberg.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cherryland Humane Society.

Family and friends may visit Life Story Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 10am until her Celebration of Life at 12 noon. Elizabeth’s interment will take place after the service at 2pm at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
