Frances Clous

Frances Lillian Clous, 88, of Traverse City, died Thursday, February 13, 2020.

She was born on August 18, 1931 in Traverse City the daughter of Everett J. and Arlene D. (Taylor) Graham.

Frances graduated from Traverse City High School.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, growing flowers, bird watching and seeing the Bears nearby.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Linda Prough of Kalkaska, Nancy Westcott and Barbara Clous both of Traverse City and Betty Clous of Kingsley; grandchildren, Amy, Carmin, Charles “Rusty” and Jessica and great-grandchildren, Bradley, Kelsea, Kylie and Kasen.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell P. Clous and sister, Esther Brown and her loving animals.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association.

An informal gathering will be held 2pm to 4pm, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Life Story Funeral Home. Memorial Services will start at 4pm. Burial will be with her husband at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
