Helene Emily Williamson, 95 of Copemish, formerly of Traverse City, died peacefully, January 7, 2021 at home with her granddaughter and caregiver, Michele. She was born on January 22, 1925 in Muskegon the daughter of Harvey and Helen (Hoadley) Hobby.

Helene was an inspector with Lear Seigler for over 25 years. She inspected the computer electronics and motherboards which were used on the Lunar Moon Landing. She worked various jobs until she was 80 years old. Helene enjoyed being a demonstrator at Sam’s Club.

Helene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and was really crafty. She loved to make vests, coats, scarf’s, slippers for her family at Christmas time.

Helene is survived by her son, David (Kaye) Thompson of Roscommon; 4 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and siblings, Louise (Rafique) Chandry of California, Nancy (Tom) Collins of New York and Bob Siereveld of White Cloud.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Louis Thompson and 2nd husband, Jim Williamson and daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Niewiadomski.

Private family services will be held. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
