Jane Smith

Jane Ann Telmos Smith, 83, of Traverse City Michigan peacefully past on December 1st 2023. She was born on October 6th, 1940 in Saginaw Michigan to Oliver Telmos and Nancy Telmos.

Her grandchild Logan Fleminger quoted “To have known her is to love her, this lady was the funniest, spunkiest, loudest and most kind-hearted person you would ever have met.”

She married the love of her life Oran Smith in Saginaw MI. Jane and Oran loved square dancing, spending time with their kids and grandchildren, and camping in their RV.

They found their Way up to Traverse City, Michigan where they built a house, full of memories.

Jane loved technology so much she enjoyed extra time she spent with Christian and Marissa.

She also enjoyed playing The ukulele, working on crafts and visiting friends. However, her favorite thing was caring for her family.

Jane is survived by her children, daughter Debra Alles; her two sons, Micheal (Cintia) Fleminger and Steven (Maria) Fleminger; her grandchildren, Chelsea Cross, Conner Alles, Christian Fleminger, Paulina Fleminger, Logan Fleminger, Salma Fleminger and Darcy Fleminger and including, Five great children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Norm; sister, Sally; her loving husband, Oran Smith, and puppies Rags and Pooh.

A celebration of her life will be held this coming spring, in Traverse City Michigan.
