Jerry and Betty Fisher

Our loving parents, Jerry and Betty Fisher are forever together. Jerry was born on March 22, 1929 in Traverse City the son of Eugene E. and Isabelle (Botz) Fisher and died on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Betty was born on February 4, 1931 in Frankfort the daughter of James and Nunzie Frances (Quinby) Borman and died on December 14, 2021.

Jerry and Betty were married in Angola, Indiana on November 8, 1952.

Jerry was a Construction Engineer and Betty taught Fifth Grade for the Traverse City Public Schools for over 40 years. She loved teaching.

Jerry was a member of the Traverse City Elk Club and the Interlochen Eagles. He enjoyed Fishing and most of all, Fishing with his grandchildren, spending time with his family, telling stories and Woodworking. Betty was a member of the First Congregational Church in Traverse and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and teaching Sunday School. Both Jerry and Betty loved traveling with family and friends.

Jerry and Betty are survived by their two children, Nunzie K. Peterman and Jerry L. Fisher; grandchildren, Torri, Tain and Tracey Peterman; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Logan and Mason Peterman.
