Julie Boomer

Julie Boomer was granted her angel wings September 2nd, 2020. She passed from cancer and her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Julie had loved throughout her life.

Her son, Tommy said it best, his Mom was a patient, loving, kind, sweet and was funny. She dedicated her life to working hard with both work and family, especially raising three boys!

Julie was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December12th, 1958. She graduated from Traverse City Senior High School.

Julie met and married her best friend, Tom Boomer. When they were young their favorite thing to do was go four wheeling on the family property. Tom was so in love with Julie he named his truck, Jumping Julie and they enjoyed many fun adventures!

Tom and Julie enjoyed a beautiful 40 year marriage and had three amazing rambunctious boys, Trevor, Travis and Tommy. They all enjoyed many weekends at the family hunting lodge in the Upper Peninsula.

Julie loved being a Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt and Grandma. She is survived by her husband, Tom; two sons, Trevor and Tommy; along with their grandson, Travis which was named after their middle son, Travis who was sadly lost too young. She is also survived by Brother, Fred Weber and Sister, Eli Flaska along with her favorite Boomer Family, Bud and Peggy Boomer, Ted and Sandy, Troy and Tara, Tim and Linda, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Shirley Martin.

Julie will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
