Kenneth Ray Stewart, 60, of Buckley, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born on January 26, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Ronald Ray and Violet Dara (Snyder) Stewart.

He graduated from Virginia Beach High School while also in the United States Navy. Kenenth was stationed in Virginia Beach and Coronado, California. He loved being Stationed on the CV66 USS America Naval Ship. After the Military he had odd jobs and then went to work at Walmart in Springfield, Ohio.

He married the love of his life, Leola Dale “Tutty” Wiggins on July 20, 2002 in Springfield. In 2014, Kenneth and Tutty moved to Buckley, Michigan. Then he was employed at Fox Grand Traverse.

Kenneth loved to mow his grass and took great pride in how his lawn looked. He loved to spend time with wife, children and grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Tutty; children, Char (Matt) McCoullough, Charlie (Tanisha) Mathis and Daryl (Bri) Stewart; 14 grandchildren; father, Ronald (Cathy) Stewart and sister, Debi (Dan) Accurso.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet “Vi” Stewart who died in 1998 and sister, Sandra Crain who died in 2020.

An informal gathering will be held 2 pm to 4 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Life Story Funeral Home. A Military Service will start at 4 pm with the Cherryland VFW and United States Navy Honor Guards.
