Kenneth Alan Van Cleve, age 68 of Traverse City, died on July 9, 2019 at home with his loving wife by his side. Ken was born on October 2, 1950 in Muskegon to Claire and Bernadine (Conaway) Van Cleve.
He married his wife Sarah Ruth (Smith) on July 1, 2014 at Bryant Park in Traverse City. Ken enjoyed playing bridge and loved to make people laugh and smile. He was a wonderful friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah, stepsons; Samuel Carpenter of Traverse City, Jonathan Carpenter of Washington, Joseph Carpenter of Traverse City, 3 grandsons and very close friend; Jonathan Fleischmann. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held 4pm to 7pm, Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Life Story Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11 am, Monday, July 15, 2019 at Life Story Funeral Home.
