Linda Savage

Linda Savage born Linda Thompson to Wayne and Margaret Thomspon in Detroit Michigan on September 11, 1951; was welcomed into heaven on August 29, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

Linda married Larry Savage on April 13, 2003 at their home in Acme, Michigan; where they lived and loved for 15 years. Linda will be remembered for her sweet disposition and thoughtfulness; always willing to lend a hand when she could.

Linda is survived by her husband Larry Savage; Sister in law Rosie (Al) Lautner; Nieces Sherry (Bruce)Hacker, Kristy Giddis, Jodi (David) Brown, Melissa (Michael) Walden and Kelly Beck; a Nephew Jim (Brenda) Galligan; many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother in law Luella Savage, Sister in law Fran Galligan, sister in law Delores Beck and sister in law Lucinda Savage.

Linda worked along her husband Larry doing lawn maintenance in the Grand Traverse area for 14 years. She could be seen pulling weeds, pushing a lawn mower or her favorite thing…visiting with others.

Linda loved animals, music, dancing, laughing, traveling to the upper peninsula, her family and her home. She was always seen smiling and offering a hug. Most recently she experienced her first ever camping trip and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt gratitude to the Munson Hospice team for their extraordinary care, concern, assistance and support through the transitional period.

A memorial celebration will be held 7pm, September 11, 2018 at Through the Roof Fellowship 6517 Bates Rd, Williamsburg, Michigan with dessert refreshments following.
