Marilyn Braun

Marilyn Kay Braun (Grewe) was born in Muskegon, MI on March 3, 1972, the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Peggy Jo (Gray) Grewe, residents of Traverse City, MI.

She married, Barry Arthur Braun on November 21, 2009, in Traverse City, MI. She worked at Lear Automotive, Tower Automotive and Beacon Specialized Living Services. Marilyn’s special interest and hobbies included spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, scrapbooking, doing white mountain puzzles and collecting golden books. Marilyn loved every person that crossed her path, and everyone loved her. She truly was one of the sweetest, kindest, most special people on Earth.

Marilyn was a fighter for LIFE. She started her fight with a childhood illness and ended her fight with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and ovarian cancer. The center of her life was filled with love, even amongst the heart breaks that life brought. She never let life take her down.

Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Bradley (Lois) Grewe, Michael (Selene) Grewe and Annette (Brian) Ahlgren; children, Kayla Grewe; stepchildren, Michael Braun, Alyssa Klemm, Sean Braun and Evan Braun; grandchildren; Mya Lemcool, Jameson Alma, Quentin Braun, Amelia Klemm, Finn Braun, Ezra Braun and Kobe Braun and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents, Bruce and Peggy Grewe; husband, Barry Braun and stepson Ryan Braun.
