Mark Dawson

Mark William Dawson, 68, of Acme Twp, Williamsburg, died March 24, 2019.

Mark was born on October 28, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to David William and Helen Mary (Sage) Dawson.

Mark played center in football at Lake Fenton High School and graduated in 1968. He married Linda Stone on April 18, 1968. They have known each other since elementary school and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2018. Mark was an avid fisherman and was known for having the best fish fry. He was a big sports enthusiast, especially loving baseball and football. He was dedicated to watching MSU and U of M sports. He had a love for standard poodles and his dog Jimi. Mark is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Mindi (Ross) Thomas of Wood Haven, David Saxon Dawson of Traverse City and Molly Dawson of Eugene, OR; grandchildren, Ben, Jack, Madeline, David Jr., Urban and Blake; siblings, Laurel (Terrance) Petiprin of Brookfield, CT, Denise (Jerry) Allen of Rotonda, FL, Margaret Dawson of Miami, FL. and David Terrance Dawson of Flint, as well as many nieces and nephews.
