Michelle Marie White Konstanzer

Here’s the deal…our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend moved on to the white sandy beaches of Heaven January 2, 2021. Born April 24, 1968 she lived a short but very full life by all measures. She was a driving force with an endless heart for all.

A lifetime resident of Grand Traverse, she graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 1986, moving on to study at Western Michigan University and Northwestern Michigan College. Her career was in the food service industry, working at Frank’s Bavyview Inn for 18 years then moving on to Mt. Holiday as the Food and Beverage Director for several years. During her life she impacted countless individuals with her open arms, an open heart and unrestrained wisdom. She was always the outgoing party planner to anyone who needed it. Known for the classroom parties for her children, weddings, fundraisers, or the surprise milestone parties for her friends, or even herself! She never missed a detail and loved every minute of it.

Her award winning White Chicken Chili will be talked about for generations. She loved to feed the bellies and souls of anyone around her. She could move mountains with her stubborn determination, which is what brought her through the last five plus years of her illness. Everyday of those years she never gave up. She continued to fight valiantly with tenacity, humbled grace and never lost her sense of humor through it all.

Above all else, Michelle was devoted to her family. Her children were the meaning to her life and the reason for all that she did. The unrestrained passion she put into every endeavor will always be cherished by those who were blessed to know her.

Michelle leaves behind her son, Kristopher (Megan); daughter, Kaitlin; mother, Marianne White; grandchildren, Kashton, Kylie and Harlow; brother, Michael (Amanda) White; nephew, Brayden and countless extended family and friends.
