Monica Stasinski, (69), passed away on September 9, 2021. She was born into a military family on March 24, 1952 in Fort Worden, Washington, to Leonard and Genevieve (Nabozny) Stasinski.

She is survived by three sisters: Ramona Williams, Susan (Gary) Fineout, Lorraine (Patrick) Smith and one brother, Leonard Stasinski, Jr. She is also survived by two nephews: Michael (Julie) Williams and Bryan (Lauren) Hamilton and four nieces: Michelle (Rob) Cancilla, Jennifer (Joe) Symons, Noelle (Hans) Wiebusch and Theresa Fineout.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother David.

Monica graced this world with a beautiful smile and an adventurous spirit. She had a special talent for drawing and painting with very unique handwriting skills. She was a switchboard operator for Michigan Bell. She lived in Hawaii and California for a short period of time. Her love of family brought her back to Michigan. She loved shopping, birthday parties and the Holidays. She also liked to be called by her nickname "Molly".

Monica also fought a mental illness most of her life. She did not have an easy road. The family is grateful for the services of the Great Lakes Community Mental Health staff.

Monica loved her home at Meadow Hill in Kingsley also. She had many friends that were also her "family". Your loving care, attention and provisions made her life so much better. Thank You for all the daily life that you handle so beautifully!

St. Mary's of Hannah was Monica's spiritual home. She found peace and contentment in your services. Thank You for the joy you brought her!

The family is also grateful to the Munson Medical Emergency Room Staff; especially Dr. Shapiro and Chantal her nurse. Your loving kindness, compassion and patience are so truly appreciated. God Bless You!

Private burial will be at St. Mary's of Hannah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Great Lakes Community Mental Health.
