Rebecca J. Erickson, 71, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on May 7th, 2020.
Born, March 17, 1949 to Ruth M. and Elmer C. Erickson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Lee; mother, Ruth M. and father Elmer C. Erickson.
“Becky” was known for creating things with her hands. She was the best crafter anyone knew. She loved the sleeping bear scenic drive and picnic, stargazing at the Sleeping Bear Dunes for their star party. So when you see a shooting star, remember her. She always lent a hand and jumped right in to any project or task. She was a proud member of her grandchild’s PTO, always actively volunteering for school projects and trips.
Becky’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and not a day will go by that she isn’t thought of.
She is survived by her older brother Larry Erickson, younger sister Susan Recker, son Ben Erickson (Lexi Thomas) , daughter Michelle Garcia (Lucas Garcia ), four grandchildren, Gracie, Rylan, Noah, and Austin.
