Richard Tremayne

Richard William Tremayne, 83, passed away on December 3, 2023. Richard was born on September 11, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to Owen and Helen (Richards) Tremayne.

He is survived by his children, Beth (Tim) Jolly, Louisville, KY, Michelle (Steve) Folkersma, Buckley, MI, John (Terrianne) Tremayne, Louisville, KY and Jim Tremayne, Grand Rapids, MI. His grandchildren, Courtney Sterry, Alysia Youker, Clay Jolly, Graham Jolly, Alison Folkersma, Donovan Tremayne, Seth Jolly, Ashley Fokersma, Emerson Tremayne, Emery Tremayne and Ella Tremayne. His brother and sister-in-law Paul and Mary Tremayne and nephews Jeff, Mark, and Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Helen, brother Bob, sister Susan, and loving partner Betty Fall.

Richard lived a good life dedicated to his work and family. He graduated from Greenville High School and Ferris Institute. He worked many jobs before opening his own real estate office in Mesick, MI in addition to a variety of side businesses. He was involved in the community and active in the Lions Club. He enjoyed golfing, cards, dancing, bowling, gardening and anything to stay busy. He enjoyed traveling to the Upper Peninsula regularly.

His family will remember him for his kindness, sense of humor, and continual economic advice.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Montrose, MI.
