On May 22nd 2020 Ronald E. Beyer of Traverse City passed away surrounded by his loving family. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Waneda Beyer. Ron is survived by his three children, Ryan (Brooke) Beyer, Nathan Beyer and Krysta Beyer (Shawn Nelson). Ron has 4 grand children, Kyle Beyer, Trinity Nelson, Valarie Nelson and Bryson Beyer, as well as 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Ron is also survived by his beloved dog Bubba.

Ron was born and raised in Southfield Michigan. Ron then moved to the Traverse City area in 1977 where he attended NMC and earned his Associates Degree in Programming.

Ron was known by many because of his passion for his work in several fields. His most well known were when he owned Your Computer or Ours and then The Plant Haus Floral. The last two companies he worked with were Goodwill and Toms Market and he was very proud of both. But whatever Ron did, he was passionate. People knew him for his work ethic and for his strong opinions in Politics and business. It was rare to go anywhere in TC and not run into someone who knew him.

Ron was a man who always did the right thing, always stood by his word, worked hard and smart in every opportunity he’s ever endured. He was a prideful man, a man of great honor and a man who always had a perspective on things that was noteworthy and powerful. He always stood for what he believed in and never feared rejection or adversity.

Ron was loved by many and certainly will be missed!! The family will be holding a memorial at a later date. A Gofundme page has been set up to help the family at https://www.gofundme.com/f/ron-beyer-cremation-and-memorial-expenses.
