Ron was born June 4, 1940 in Bay City, Mi, son of Mary and Edmond Marchlewicz. He graduated from St. Stans high school and attended Michigan State University earning a two year degree in their agricultural college. Married to Sharron Couture on September 15, 1962. Children were Sue Drake (Ron), Steven (Lilia), Ken (Tammy). Ron worked for Farm Bureau Services for 17 years in Mt Pleasant, Greenville and Caro, MI. He turned a hobby into a business in Caro opening a coin shop where his business thrived until his retirement. Ron and Sharron moved to Traverse City after retirement and spent winters in Florida for ten years. Ron enjoyed golfing at Elmbrook golf course, fishing on the little lake where he resided and playing with his grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at St Francis at a later date with cremation services handled by Life Story.
