Rudolph Sedlacek

Rudolph John Sedlacek, 62, of Kingsley, MI passed away on April 13, 2019.

Rudy was born at Munson Medical Center, in Traverse City, on April 26, 1956, the middle son, to Joseph J and Marie A (Ockert) Sedlacek.

He graduated from Kingsley High School, and went on to complete his Journeyman Plumbing License.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and looking for mushrooms.

Rudy is survived by his two brothers. Cliff (Marie C) and Ron Sedlacek, two nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces and three great-nephews. Also surviving is his former wife and lifelong friend, Jeannette Tavener, and two step-daughters.

Rudy was proceeded in death by his mother and father, and sister-in-law Nancy Sedlacek.

A graveside service, for anyone wishing to attend, will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Hannah Cemetery, in Hannah, with Pastor Molly VanZandt officiating, where Rudy will be laid to rest next to his parents.
