Susan Hill

Susan Kate Hill, 66, of Traverse City, died Monday, November 13, 2017.

She was born on March 26, 1951 in Traverse City, the daughter of Arthur Eugene “Gene” and Julia Kate (Lemcool) Hill.

Susan was in Special Education and graduated from Traverse City Public Schools.

She made two trips to Lansing to speak on Special Education with the Michigan Legislature.

Susan loved talking to and being with people. She was very well known in Traverse City and was a friend to all she met. She was very knowledgeable about current events and Hollywood movie stars. Susan loved to read and her favorite magazine was “People”; she read it from cover to cover.

Susan is survived by her cousins, friends and her Kennedy House families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Julia Hill.

Dick and Sharon Hill would like to thank all the great staff and Debbie Long of Kennedy House for all the great care and love given to Susan. Debbie was like a mother to Susan.

Memorial Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City. The family will greet friends starting at 10 am.
