Theresa Clara Steinebach, 79 of Traverse City, passed away May 11, 2018 at Munson Medical Center.
Theresa was born on July 6, 1938 on the family farm in Cedar, to William A. and Mary (Miller) Stachnik.
Theresa loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bingo, watching the Tigers, Red Wings and NASCAR. She was a cook for 40 years.
Theresa is survived by her sons, Roger (Kim) Steinebach and Mark Steinebach; grandchildren, Roger (Estavon), Samantha (Brad) King, Madeline Steinebach and Mark Steinebach.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Helen Nachazel and Margie Shorter.
An informal gathering will be held 4pm to 7pm, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Life Story Funeral Home, 752 Munson Ave., Traverse City. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Please visit www.lifestorytc.com to sign the guestbook and share your thoughts and memories with the family.
