In Loving Memory of Albert L. Duncan.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Albert L. Duncan, who departed this life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, he was 75. Albert was born on June 12, 1950, in Lapeer, Michigan, to Ralph and Pauline (Munson) Duncan.
Albert proudly served four years in the United States Military, part of that time in Vietnam. He was an M-16 sharpshooter and fuel tank driver during his service.
Albert spent his life working in the automotive and Christmas tree industry. Albert could be found hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren in his spare time.
Family and Legacy
Albert is survived by his immediate family, including his spouse, Deborah Duncan.
Albert cherished his family above all else, always making time to share stories, laughter, and guidance with those he loved. He instilled a strong sense of values and kindness in his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
He is also survived by his children, Rebecca (Robert) Gerhard of Cadillac, Mary (Melissa) Duncan of Norton Shores, and Dale Jacobson of Chicago, IL., grandchildren, Charles (Kassie) Daily, Amber Daily, Chrystal (Brock) Baird, Brady Sutterfield, Hunter Sutterfield, and Damon Gerhard, and 2 great grandchildren, Parker and Ryder Baird, as well as a wide circle of extended family and cherished friends.
Albert was proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers, and several family members and friends.
He will be remembered for his special qualities, hobbies, and achievements, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration.
Celebration of Life
A service to celebrate Albert's life will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vets Serving Vets, in honor of Albert's service in the United States Military.
Albert will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
