Allan Dinger

Allan Eugene Dinger, 76, of Mesick, died Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born September 8, 1947 in Frankfort, Michigan to Elton Eugene and Vivian (Frost) Dinger.

A retired mechanical engineer for URS Power Group, Allan was also a member of the Mesick James E. Dillon Lodge #466 Free and Accepted Masons, and the Mesick Amvets Lodge #120.

Allan loved golf and was passionate about the University of Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue! He enjoyed entertaining family and friends with his famous cookouts. His signature rotisserie prime rib ‘ruin’t roast’ was out of this world!

Allan is survived by his wife, Valerie (Babcock) Dinger; daughter, Jiffy, “his little princess”; granddaughter, Willow P; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Barb Dinger; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Gerardo Godinez; several nieces and nephews and special cousins, Garry, Tom and Andy

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Vivian Dinger; and his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Bruce Eberhard.

A Celebration of Allan's Life will be held from 3:00PM - 5:00PM on Saturday, June 22nd at the Laughing Horse Saloon in Thompsonville, Michigan.

Private Burial will be in Cleon Township Cemetery, Copemish.
