Amber Helsel

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our mom Amber Lynn Helsel, 53, of South Boardman Michigan. She gained her wings on the evening of March 2nd, 2022.

She will be remembered by her boyfriend Curt Timmons; her children: SarahLea Helsel and Aurther Helsel; grandchildren: Robert Solo 3rd, Richard, Rian, Paytain, Kaydance, Elizabeth Keckler, Drake Helsel, Aliyah and Milah Mathews; sisters: Deborah Clark (Fred) and Sheryl Beckwith (Doug).

Amber was predeceased by her husband Jerry (Lee) Helsel, parents Larry and Sally (Bargy) Johnson.

She was a strong independent women who was always there for her family and friends. She was loving and compassionate never thinking of herself. She sacrificed so much for her family. She had many accomplishments in life; graduating high school, 22 years of marriage, a mother to 2 children, a grandma to 9 grandkids, 20 years of employment at Birchwood Nursing Home and so much more.

Amber enjoyed; fishing, two-tracking, mushrooming, and outings with her family. Her favorite holiday/ anniversary was Halloween. She loved to ride her Harley Davidson(harleyquin) always saying she felt free with the wind in her hair.

She fought a long and hard battle. She went through so much to be able to give us the gift of as much time with her she could give. We are so grateful and thankful for the life are provided, the sacrifice are made, and most of all the memories we have. After all it's not goodbye it's see you later!
