Anthony "Tony" Schweifler

Anthony “Tony” Lee Schweifler, 52, of Buckley, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was born September 15, 1971 in Grand Haven the son of George Theodore and Ruthann (Dillingham) Schweifler. His family moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona where he attended high school.

He later moved back to Michigan. Tony was a Roofer and owned We Do Roofing. He also was a Mechanic with Buds Complete Auto and Trucking Repair in Traverse City.

Tony enjoyed hanging out with his family. He played Nintendo Switch and Wii Golf and Bowling. Tony loved to cook, deep frying food, fishing, camping. In his mid-20’s he raced his Dirt Track Cars at the M-113 Speedway.

Tony is survived by his children, Lisa Schweifler, Taylor Schweifler, Christina (Austin) Davis, Curtis Martin, Kaitlyn Schweifler and Tony Schweifler; 2 grandchildren; sister, Tammy (Bud) Lappo; brother, Tim (Amy) Schweifler; nephew, Anthony Lee Schweifler and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruthann.
