Beatrice I. (McCall) Moyer

Beatrice I. Moyer, 98, passed away on April 18, 2023 at Orchard Creek Health Care where she had been a patient for the past month. She had been a resident of Glen Eagle for the past 9 years.

Born in Traverse City, MI on March 6, 1925 to John and Myrtle (Richardson) McCall, she was a lifetime resident of the area.

She was the last sibling of a family of 6 children and predeceased by sister, Helen Taylor-Fish, and brothers, Francis, Jack, William, and Donald McCall.

She is survived by son, Jon, and two grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her beloved niece, Jackie Taylor Canute, who was her best friend and companion for many years, and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In her younger years she was employed as a Secretary to William Novak, Principal of the Traverse City Central High School and later in life she clerked in several high-end women's clothing stores. Betty worked until her late 70's.

As per her wish, she has been cremated and her remains will be interned in the McCall plot in Oakwood Cemetery.
