Beverly Massie

Beverly Jane (Smith) Massie of Traverse City died Tuesday, October 2, 2012. She was surrounded by family. Her passion was nature and she enjoyed growing flowers. She painted, wrote poetry and was an avid reader.

But mostly Bev loved her family and her friends with all of her heart. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Thompson and Lori Herald as well as grandchildren, Bethany, Caitlin, Samantha, Keanu and Isaiah, brother, Clayton Smith, Sisters, Ruth Ann Stibitz and Diane Bailey and much loved nieces and nephews..

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1pm Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Pine Grove Church; where the family will greet friends starting at 12 noon. Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
