Brian Keith Howe, age 59, passed away at his home on March 24, 2024. He was born on August 5, 1964 to Charles and Carolyn Howe in Frankfort, IN. The family moved to Grawn, MI in 1965 and Brian remained a lifelong resident.

He was proud of the man and father his son, Colin, had grown into. He was a very proud Grandpa to Guiliana and Sloan. You could hear the love in his voice when he talked about them and shared pictures.

He was known as “Howie” to his friends, many of them he had known since childhood.

His friends describe him as an adventurer, a risk taker and a caring and compassionate person with a great sense of humor. He was a great storyteller, especially to the kids and around the campfire. He enjoyed cooking, camping, most outdoor sports especially riding mountain bikes, quads, motorcycles, and snowmobiles and boating. His dogs were very important to him and he loved caring for and spoiling them. He was on several softball teams over the years. He had a sense of adventure and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He traveled to Canada, Mexico, Oregon, Washington DC, Tennessee, Massachusetts among other places.

His favorite sports teams were the Cincinnati Reds, Dallas Cowboys, and U of M football. HIs childhood dream was to be a professional baseball player.

He worked at Rose Pest Solutions for several years and enjoyed his job, meeting new customers and seeing established clients.

Surviving family members include a son, Colin Sposato (wife Shari) of MI, sisters, Shannon Cribbs (husband Phillip) of Illinois, Julie Gray of Arizona and Elisha Glass (husband Brian) of Indiana. Two granddaughters, Guiliana and Sloan Sposato, three nephews Forrest, Boady and Deacon and two nieces, Maya and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Carolyn Howe, an infant sister, Rosemary, maternal and paternal grandparents as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He truly loved his family and friends and is greatly loved and missed by all.
