Brian Robert Lewis, 35, of Williamsburg, died Friday, September 25, 2020.

He was born on June 2, 1985 in Traverse City the son of Robert and Pamela (Send) Lewis. He was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He graduated from Elk Rapids High School in 2004.

Brian loved to fish, hunt, snowmobile and riding his Quad. He was a sports nut, especially liking the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. He loved his Hot Cars, his Mustang Cobra and his Big Truck. He enjoyed hanging out with family and spending time in the Upper Peninsula. He mowed the lawns of all his family who lived in the Williamsburg area. The lawns were meticulous when he was done.

Brian has worked at Send Brothers Feed Store since his teen years. He worked with his mother, Pam every day and had a special relationship with her. Brian also worked on the family farm and loved animals. He enjoyed being a dog sitter. Brian was very interested in showing he cared about others. He made friends with a lot of people and enjoyed knowing what was going on in their lives.

Brian is survived by his parents, Bob and Pam Lewis, maternal aunts and uncles, Rosie (Gary) Hanna, Gloria (John) Hamelund, Dave (Diane) Send, Greg (Jill) Send, Mary (George) Drogt, Jeff (Sandy) Send, Eric (Donna) Send, Mark (Tara) Send and Marty (Beanie) Send; paternal uncle and aunt, Larry (Nan) Lewis; numerous cousins and uncle, Al (Margaret) Mowers, Special friends Kevin and Kathy McKinley.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Art and Florence (Brian called her Chicken Grandma) Send; paternal grandparents, Deneen and Clara Lewis; his aunt, Jan Mowers; and "Super Uncle" Mike Send.

The family’s preference is contributions to the Cherryland Humane Society, AC Paw and New Hope Community Church.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held 11 am, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at New Hope Community Church, Williamsburg. The family will greet friends starting at 10 am.
