Carole Lee Sovia, 88, of Traverse City, died Wednesday, May 29, 2026. Born on April 5, 1938 to Clarence and Emilie Sovia.
She had four siblings, Elmer Filipiak, Gertrude (Filipiak) Sterba, Frederick Sovia, and Kenneth Sovia. Elmer, Gertrude and Kenneth have preceded her in death. She had two sons, John Frasier and Ted Lee Isham. John and Ted also preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Mary Fraiser; granddaughters: Vickie (Michael) Shank and Dawn Frasier; one great-grandson, Derrick Timerman; three great-granddaughters, Brooke Riggs, Amanda Kolarik and Courtney Shank;, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan. She grew up in Sandford and Owosso, Michigan.
In her adult life she lived twenty-six years in Arizona and six years in Florida, before returning home to Michigan to be with Family.
A private family gathering will be held.
