Life Story / Obituary
Coriantum Benjamin Harrington (Corey), age 31, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2022 at his home in Traverse City, Michigan. Corey is survived by his young children; Mason (son) and Ryleigh (daughter) and their mother Sophie Bourgeois. He is also survived by his mother Constance Bender (Dave Hoekje), sister Catalina Pace (Bradly Pace), father Timothy Harrington (Carrie Siddens), nephews Zachary and Dominic, his grandmother Anita Konstant, many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and his cat Milo.
Corey was born in Cleveland Ohio, lived in Huntley IL, Baltimore MD, and Traverse City MI. He made friends everywhere he lived. Corey enjoyed the outdoors - watching the field of rye he had sown blowing in the wind and spending nights star gazing. His wicked and sarcastic sense of humor was a source of many hours of laughter. He loved his children and connected with his sister. His friends from Huntley High School in Illinois (Scott, Geoff, Eric) maintained their bond of brotherhood through the years and he was overjoyed at catching up with them in October 2021. He always found ways to help others and paved a path to bring families together.
Proceeded in death by his brother, Jerry Meade III, he was wounded from the pain of losing his best friend in 2016. He spoke with his brother often and looked forward to the time when they would be together again – laughing, joking, pulling pranks, and feeling love. Fly high, Corey. Peace and comfort and no more pain.
