Born December 8, 1953, Craig David Flickinger passed away at home in November of 2022. A lifelong Traverse City resident, Craig graduated from Traverse City Senior High School in 1972. In 1976, Craig graduated from Grand Valley with a degree in philosophy.
Craig held a variety of jobs throughout his life including a number of positions in the food service industry. The last job that Craig held was a driver for Morse Moving and Storage, a position which he greatly enjoyed.

Craig appreciated the beauty of the natural world and spent time gardening and taking in the splendor of his surroundings.
Donovan Flickinger, Craig’s son, was his greatest joy. Craig’s pride in his son’s accomplishments was known to all who spoke with him. In addition to Donovan, Craig is also survived by Donovan’s mother, Rosie Vreeland-Flickinger, both of Traverse City. Also surviving are siblings, Jim (Lois) Flickinger of Grand Rapids and Gary (Carol) Flickinger of Traverse City, brother-in-law, Steve Sageman of Canton, and many nieces and nephews.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Donna Flickinger, and his sister, Sally (Steve) Sageman.
