Daniel Arman

Daniel Arman 69 of Grawn died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at his home.

He was born on November 27, 1943 in Detroit the son of Daniel J. and Anne (Strake) Arman.

Daniel graduated from Brighton High School in 1961; attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Lawrence Institute of Technology. He began his career as a journeyman tool & die maker working with his father at Regent Tool & Manufacturing in Hazel Park.

He was a member of the Interlochen Eagles, and the Elks Lodge in Madeira Beach, Florida. Daniel was a competitive sail boat racer; winning several trophies, and received the boat of year award. He was very social and loved the companionship with his friends. He also liked sightseeing, two tracking and being with family, friends and his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Dian (Klecker) Arman; they were married, December 21, 1968 in Howell; children, Mark Arman and his wife, Lynda, Guenevere Arman and Chris Behanic, of Traverse City. Daniel Blust of Hernando, FL and Edward Walker and his wife, Patricia of Grand Rapids and sister, Dianne Arman of Brighton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Todd Blust.

Daniel will be missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 4:30pm, Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Interlochen Eagles; 20724 Honor Hwy. Interlochen; 231-275-7189; where the family will greet friends starting at 4pm.
