David Alastair Johnson, 62, husband, father and brother, uncle, passed away peacefully on October 27th in Traverse City, Michigan. David was born July 22, 1962 in Waterbury, Connecticut.
David spent his career in the hospitality industry as a Director of Revenue for hotels in South Carolina, Texas, Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, Thailand and Michigan.
David was a devoted husband and father, an avid reader of science fiction, loved his wife’s Thai cooking, music by the Beatles, being at the beach and around the water, and would always tell his loved ones “Love you more!”
David was preceded in death by his father, Alan Curtis Johnson, and mother, Marion MacInnes Johnson.
David is survived by his wife, Thongluan “PomPam” Saenjai, son Allen and daughter Alina, siblings Michael Johnson, Lynne [Jerry Harris] Johnson, Mairi [Doug] Marker, and much loved cousins, nieces and nephews, and his favourite Uncle Gordy “Unc” Johnson.
The family will celebrate David’s life at a future gathering.
