Donald Franklin Clewley II, 46, of Traverse City, died Monday, October 16, 2023.

He was born on May 15, 1977, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Richard Russell and Cindy Lee (Ryan) Clewley.

After high school, Don worked at Casper Corporation in Lansing.

He married Melanni Quellet on July 9, 1999 in Charlotte, Michigan. They moved to Kalkaska in 2000 where he started Northern Contract Services, an installation Office Furniture business. Most recently he started the Eolus Facility Group.

Don and his family were members of New Hope Community Church. He was a Past President of the North Michigan Mountain Biking Association (NMMBA).

In his free time, he loved being in nature. He enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. Don left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Known for his problem-solving skills, he was a great leader, always positive and driven. He was loving, amazing and filled with unconditional love for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Melanni Clewley; his sons, Owen and Issac Clewley; brother, Russell; sister, Becky (Nick) Stellwagen; father and step-mother, Richard and Maryruth Clewley; mother, Cindy Richardson; nieces, Autumn Clewley and Brianna Clewley and his long-term friend, Chris Tredway.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the North Michigan Mountain Biking Association.
