Donna Martin

Donna Mae Martin of Traverse City, passed away Friday, August 25th of 2023, leaving behind her only daughter Brooke, and so many others. Including her beloved sister, Rhonda and brother-in-law, Greg Hausler nephews, Ben and Gabe Hausler, Andrew (Brandi) Wolf, Robert (Karissa) Renne, and nieces, Aubrey Miller, Amanda Martin and Emily DeBord; great-nieces, Adrian and Rena; along with all her brothers-in-law, Rodrick (Sherry) Martin, Robert (Tommi) Martin, Mark Martin, and Richard Martin and best friend, Jane (Richard) Hausler.

Born and raised in Petoskey, MI she was very much loved and adored, and felt the same in return from all. Donna was always kind and supportive to anyone that needed a helping hand, even for a stranger, and didn’t or wouldn’t think twice about gaining anything in return. Helping was just in her nature. Donna married the man she knew that would be the love of her life, Greg Martin, and he was.

They moved to Traverse City to start a new chapter of their life together, and it was special because they had one another to always count on and to be there when most needed, and all the small times in between. Unfortunately, we don’t find that often enough these days.

The family would like to thank the staff at Munson Hospice House and thank Vaughn Seavolt with Life Story Funeral Home for all his kindness and assistance to Greg, Donna and Brooke.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Munson Hospice House.

Private burial will be held at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens, Traverse City.
