Dylan Porter

Dylan Michael Porter, 24, of Traverse City, died July 27, 2022.

He was born on September 3, 1997 in Traverse City the son of Michael James and Teri Lynn (Fasel) Porter.

Dylan attended Traverse City Central High School and was very proud to earn his GED this year, 2022.

He worked with his grandparents at Fasel’s Concessions. Dylan previously worked as a cook with La Senorita.

Dylan was tech savvy and always on his computer playing video games. He loved music, basketball, money, gambling and was known for his magic tricks with cards. He was stylish, funny and smart. Dylan was a handsome man and always smiling. He loved hanging out with his family and friends.

Dylan is survived by his father, Michael (Ashley Avery) Porter, siblings, Ashley Porter, Brianna (Addison) Davenport, Molly (Trey Miller) Porter and Carson Porter; special niece, Sofie Davenport; maternal grandparents, Terry and Linda Fasel; paternal grandmother, Cheryl (Paul) St. Germaine; uncle, Ryan Fasel, special cousins, Kathy Lynn Budreau, Taralynn Fasel and Ryan Patrick Fasel; aunt, Shannon Woods and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teri Lynn Porter, paternal grandfather, Edwin Claire Porter; uncle, Christopher Floyd Porter and special aunt, Nancy Arnold.

A Celebration of life will be held 2 pm to 6pm, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Grace McDonald Park, 131 E. Arbutus Lake Rd. Burial will take place that morning at 11 am at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
