Elaine Ruth Reamer 93 of Traverse City died Friday, April 11, 2014.
She was born in Traverse City on August 11, 1920 the daughter of John and Ruth (French) Akers.
Elaine was a volunteer at the Traverse City Senior Center for over 16 years. She loved to play cards; especially Euchre. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Elaine is survived by her children, Denny L. (Suzanne) Reamer and Patricia A. (Steve) Busalacchi; grandchildren, Denise, Deborah, Brenda and Karen; great-grandchildren, Shanea, Guy, Katrina and Dakota; brother, Jack Akers and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bernard Reamer; they were married on April 30, 1937 and Theron Durga; they were married on May 1, 1999; grandson, Michael Busalacchi; siblings, Gerald Akers, Ellen Kyselka, Betty Pickard and Maureen Akers.
Cremation will take place. According to Elaine's wishes, there will be no memorial service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Traverse City Senior Center, 801 E Front St, Traverse City, Michigan 49684.
