Eric Douglass

Eric Paul Douglass, 51 of Traverse City, MI, passed into the presence of the lord on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Eric was born on October 26, 1970 in Hamilton, OH to the late Rev. Philip Douglass and Carolyn (Dreher) Douglass. He graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 1989. He was also a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in English.

He is survived by his mother Carolyn Douglass and his brothers Chad (Linda) Douglass and Ryan (Lyndsay) Douglass, and also his beloved children Jackson, Brady, and Charles Douglass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Eric was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching his children play and participate in their athletic and other activities. He also enjoyed skiing, spending time in Grand Traverse Bay during the summer, golfing, and spending time with his large network of close friends that had been a tight knit group from childhood.

Memorial contributions in the memory of Eric may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
