Esther "Aggie" Wilson

Esther (Aggie) E. Wilson, of Empire, MI, died June 24, 2026. She was born on February 22, 1935, in Cedar Springs, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George Wilson.

Aggie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked golf and volunteering with the Empire Eagles Club. She enjoyed buying lottery tickets, going to the casinos, playing bunko and euchre. During retirement, she enjoyed working for Cherry Republic. One of her favorite past times was organizing and enjoying pizza night with friends, this was always followed by going to the local ice cream shop.

She is survived by her sons, Steve (Sandy) Wilson of Empire, MI, Brian (Cindy) Wilson of Franklin, TN, her sister Pat (Mike) Ostrander of Cedar Springs, MI, brother, Dan Hicks of Dewitt, MI; grandchildren Janice (Chris) Dougherty, Nichol Wilson Dyer and four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Maggie Hicks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Clara (Jacques) Hicks, son Leonard Wilson, sister Helen Cadwell, brother Jack Hicks and sisters-in-law Jensine Sterba and Barbara Hicks.

A Funeral Service will be held at Empire United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Visitation will be held at 10am; Service at 11am followed by a light lunch in the church Fellowship Hall. Burial to take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Empire.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Empire United Methodist Church, Empire, MI.
