Gerald William Campbell Jr Died at the young age of 61 on October 1, 2023 in Traverse City, Michigan.

His health battle ended with his family near and by his side.

Jerry was an amazing person who joined the Navy early on and traveled the world. He retired after serving his country for over 20 years and wore the rank of a Chief Petty Officer. He continued to be a leader in his next career as a Sargent at the Monroe Correctional Facility where he was not only a leader but a noted member of the negation team. He took great pride in both his career and family.

It was amazing to see the many talents that Jerry had, he was blessed with an artistic side that included wood carving, building something from nothing and those of us that have one know firsthand the quality of his pens.

He follows both his mother Darlene Marie Campbell and his father Gerald William Campbell Sr. but leaves many of those that loved him here to continue to tell his story. This includes his wife Tanya Campbell, Son Tyler Holmes, Daughter Amber Campbell, his two brothers James and Harlow Campbell and so many others who were both family and friends.

Jerry will be missed greatly by his family and all that knew him. He was loved and loved. He leaves a footprint of strength, pride, valor and love.

Jerry will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent Washington next to his fellow Veterans.
