Gregory Martin

Gregory Lee Martin, 74 of Traverse City, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Oh Bubba, I guess we won’t be able to get that Burger and Shake at Don’s Drive in this spring.

But that’s okay. Just for a moment we will look at your past.

You were the wonderful son to your father, Rueben Fred and Marion A. (Boehlein) Martin. A loving brother to Roderick, Robert, Richard and Mark. The best father to your daughter, Brooke Magee.

You served in the US Air Force as a medic in the Vietnam War. After the military you then received your diploma from Central Michigan.

Many people would recognize you with your other service of 45 years at Traverse Motors; now Serra.

Greg respected every one of your needs.

To call this a day, You said goodbye to your last living Aunt, Hilda Maslowski who will have her 89th Birthday tomorrow, to all of your nieces; nephews; cousins and close friends.

You always said “Don’t say good-bye, say see you later.” So for now I will say “See you later”. Your grateful and loving wife Donna, of 44 years.

A special thank you to Hospice of Michigan who guided him through his time of need with his Journey from Brain Cancer.

Private burial will be held at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
