Guy Lawrence Richey, 43, passed away July 6, 2013 at Munson Medical Center after a brief illness with Pancreatic Cancer.

He was born in Flint on December 7, 1969 the son of the late David John Richey Sr. and Carol Ann Warner. He grew up in Kingsley.

Guy was the Vice President of Technology at Component Control.com, USA in San Diego, CA for 15 years. He enjoyed his job immensely; it afforded him the opportunity to travel all over the world. He was able to take his daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, and Julianne on trips to Switzerland, England, France, and Israel as their graduation, from high-school, presents. Because of his un-timely death his daughter Joyce will take her graduation trip to France with her mother at a later date.

He traveled to Brazil many times, his last trip being the famous Rio Carnival, with his brother Dave and best friend Chez.

In March of 1991 he met Tonda Parrish; they were married a year and a half later on September 25, 1993 at the Grawn United Methodist Church.

Guy is survived by his wife Tonda; daughters: Jessica, Jennifer, Julianne, and Joyce; Son: Joshua brothers: David and Dan, sisters: Kim, Stacy and Nancy, Step mother Kay and best friend Chez.

Guy’s wishes are to have his ashes scattered at the Tahquamenon Falls in September to honor their 20th wedding anniversary. A private celebration of life will be held for family and close friends at that time.
