Holly Salisbury

Holly Anne Salisbury, 39, died suddenly Tuesday, June 13, 2023, following a brief hospitalization.

Holly was born Dec. 22, 1983 in Traverse City, MI, the daughter of Linda Heater Byler and Douglas E. Salisbury.

She was a 2002 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School.

Holly was a resilient survivor, a friend, a gamer, incredible chef, a champion for those around her, lover of animals (turtles and sharks especially) and plushies and had a fantastic sense of humor. She loved going on adventures with her girlfriend Jaimee, with whom she spent every possible moment of their 13 months and 1 day together. It was not enough time – and yet, it was.

She leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, Jaimee Davis; mother Linda Heater Byler; brothers Hans Salisbury and Dan Dreisbach; grandmother Bernice Heater; close friends and extended family; and her beloved dog Abbie Kadabbie.

She was preceded in death by her father and grandfather.

A private burial will be held at a later date in Traverse City.
