Jacqueline Joyce "Jo" Beck Norman

Jacqueline Joyce ‘Jo” Beck Norman, 86, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

She was born on April 11, 1934 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Mary Leona Kettner and Lloyd Hudson, and raised in Mesick by her grandparents Earnest and Eathel Kettner (her Mom & Pop).

Joyce is survived by children Kathi (Edwin) Polk and Kevin (Teresa) Beck both of Traverse City; Kenneth (Susan) Beck of Shell Knob, Missouri; and Randall (Jackie) Beck of Rochester Hills; stepchildren: James Norman of Commerce Township, Donald (Mary) Norman of Leesburg, FL; John (Lynne) Norman of Traverse City, Edward (Maureen) Norman of Kalkaska, Char Knowlton of Williamsburg, and Charles Norman of Beulah; 16 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ralph Henry Beck in 1986, second loving husband Robert Charles Norman in 2016, and two great-grandsons, Kaleb and Bradley.

A private burial was held at Cornell Cemetery in Buckley. The family would like to thank the loving and incredible staff at French Manor LaFranier in Traverse City.
